How long can I stay at an Amazing Retreat?

You can stay as long as you like at an Amazing Retreat, subject to there being availability. However we over weekends there is a minimum stay of two nights, over Bank Holidays, Christmas and New Year there is a minimum stay of three nights.

Why should I stay at an Amazing Retreat?

What is included in the cost?

We provide beautiful luxurious Egyptian Cotton linen; bath towels and bathrobes; a Welcome Hamper supplied with local produce and toiletries by Penhaligon's. Our kitchens come stocked with 'essentials' for your arrival. For more information on individual Retreats, please click here.

Are linen and towels provided?

Yes. We also provide bathrobes.

How do I make a reservation?

Call our Bookings Team on 01494 682 682 and they will be able to take your booking.

Can I pay on arrival?

No, unfortunately we require cleared payment before the commencement of your booking.

Can I pay by credit card?

We accept all major forms of payment including bank transfer. However, for credit card transactions we charge a 2% surcharge and for AMEX there is a 3.2% surcharge.

How far in advance do I have to book?

You can book the day before your stay if you so desire. However, we recommend booking well in advance to avoid disappointment, particularly at peak periods.

Is there a minimum length of stay?

Over weekends we have a two night minimum stay and over Bank Holidays, Christmas and New Year there is a three night minimum stay.

Can I extend my stay whilst in the property?

Yes, provided the property is available.

What can I expect in my Amazing Retreat?

Every Retreat is unique and so the features and facilities available do vary. However, our team can give you a full inventory of your chosen Retreat. Click here to contact them. Of course, outstanding service and supreme luxury is standard in every Retreat.

Is my Amazing Retreat serviced?

Our Amazing Hosts can provide three hours of light housekeeping free of charge, either from 7am - 10am, or 8am - 11am. This can include light cleaning and preparation of breakfast.

How do I check in?

Our Amazing Hosts will show you around the Retreat, demonstrate all the facilities and take an inventory on your arrival.

How do I amend my booking?

Can I hold a wedding?

Several of our Retreats hold wedding licenses, whilst several are in the process of having their licenses granted. Please contact our team for an up to date list of Retreats which are suitable for weddings.

Can I hold a firework display?

Unfortunately due to the historic nature of our Retreats, we do not allow fireworks at any of our properties.

Do you have facilities for children?

Many of our Retreats offer many facilities for children, but the exact details vary from property to property. Please contact our team for full details.

Can I bring pets?

Pets and animals are only accepted by prior agreement.

Can I view an Amazing Retreat before booking?

Yes. Our Amazing Hosts will be able to show you around the property subject to availability. Please contact us to make an appointment.

Can the Retreats have extra beds added?

Yes at some of our Retreats we have sofa beds, Z beds and room for additional beds. Additional numbers of beds vary between properties and there is a charge for this service. Please contact us for further details.

Can someone organise events for me?

Yes. Our bookings team can organise a wide range of events from team building events to tours. Please ask them for more details when booking.

Can you shop for me?

Unfortunately we do not carry out this service. However, if you order prior to you arrival, our Amazing Hosts will accept the delivery on your behalf and store it in your kitchen.

Can your Amazing Hosts cook for me?
