Payroll Clerk

Permanent / Part-time

Must be available immediately 

Salary: Negotiable 

Reporting to Finance Manager with an associated working relationship with HR Manager 

- This is a part time permanent position - approx. 5/6 days per month - between the 19th and 24th of each month - non negotiable

- Immediately available to be considered for the role

Key Skills/Competencies

 

-  Requires someone who is hardworking, vibrant with excellent time organisational skills

- Solid experience in processing monthly payroll  through Sage 50 HR/Payroll

- Solid experience in Month and Year End reports processing

- Involves processing with accuracy and in line with payment runs

- Knowledge of Revenue & Customs current legislation - e.g. NI Rates, statutory payments etc

- All Payroll duties including inputting bank and taxation details, handling all aspects of Payroll including new starters, leavers, P45s, P46’s and Pensions

- Must have an understanding of other general accounting duties

- Strong MS Excel skills

- Flexibility with hours and peak periods of work is essential
