The drive is more than a quarter of a mile long and ends around a pretty central fountain flanked on one side by the meandering lawns and a picturesque lake, and on the other by an enchanting forest.

Step out of the car and the landscaped grounds and gardens of the house will captivate you too. The old carriage drive crosses an arch bridge beside the lake, and a quiet pathway leads below the house and gives mesmerising views back to the house and towards the rockery.
