- Plas Rhianfa
History
Plas Rhianfa dates from 1849 and was built for Sir John Hay Williams, a descendent of Sir William Williams who built Bodelwyddan Castle.
Designed by Liverpool architect Charles Reed and built by local Beaumaris builder John Rogers, the property was intended as a dower house to provide a home for Sir John's wife and daughter following his death, which was in 1859.
The house remained in the family until 1955 at which point it was given as a wedding present to a Dr and Mrs Verney.
Clarenco acquired the estate in April 2011 and have commenced a sympathetic refurbishment programme to bring the estate to bring it in line with the other iconic and luxurious properties within the portfolio.
